Ms. Mc Givern’s 4th and 5th class are enjoyed making pumpkins for Halloween using parchment paper, glue and orange string. They drew a pumpkin shape on the parchment paper and then dipped the orange string in the glue and placed on their parchment paper making a variety of shapes. When it dried they peeled the string of the parchment paper and hung them up.  The students also made mummy jars.  They used a paint brush to apply the glue to their jar and then wrapped bandages around the jar to cover it.  They then stuck googly eyes onto their jar mummy and placed them in the window sill for other classes to view.
