The kids have really enjoyed baking goodies over the term. It has help introduce them to new foods while developing their fine motor and listening skills. The kids have made a variety of tasty treats from editable cookie dough to Halloween spider cookies, rice krispie buns and Christmas themed treats!
it has been lovely having our four students back in our Junior Autism Class this year along with the arrival of two new Junior Infants to our room who are settling in well to the class.
We took advantage of the sun and treated ourselves to a picnic in the forest which gave a reprieve from the heat of the sun. It was great to have the girls from 5th class to assist with the set up. Everyone enjoyed a variety of treats and drinks.
It was lovely having some pupils from 5th class down to assist with activities and games in the Junior Autism Class.
