We thoroughly enjoyed Book Week this year. Students were busy with D.E.A.R (Drop everything and read) time, A.R reading, Reader’s Theatre and designing bookmarks. This year we celebrated World Book Day with a visit from local author Gerry Boland. Gerry did a variety of different writing workshops in the classrooms and also read some of his poems to the students.

Book Wwek finished with Dress up as a Character Day on Friday. It was wonderful to see lots of different characters in the school including famous footballers, scientists, Dork Diaries and Isadora Moon characters, Where’s Wally, Harry Potter, Mr. Stink to name but a few!
