Last week the students enjoyed making their own fish using various food items as we had been looking at the story of the Rainbow Fish and other creatures that live under the sea. The students made their fish using rice cakes with Nutella as a glue and then stuck cornflakes on as scales. I divided a rice cake into quarters which they used as the tail of their fish. When they were finished they placed an m&m on their fish to create an eye and then of course sampled their tasty fish!
